Reserving a party date:   When a party date and time has been selected, a deposit will be necessary to secure your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable and must be received within 2 week of booking your party date and time. The balance will be due on the day of your party.

**We suggest booking parties at least 4-6 weeks in advance.

Payment:  At this time, we accept checks, cash and Visa/MasterCard through Paypal.com.   All balances MUST be paid in cash on the day of your party

Cancellations:   Once a deposit has been paid, parties may only be postponed. We will gladly work with you to find an alternate party date for your consideration, based on availability. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason, your deposit is non-refundable.
** Should it be necessary to resend invitations, there will be an additional charge.

Inclement Weather/Illness:   In the case of severe weather, Happily Ever After reserves the right to RESCHEDULE your party. If YOU choose to cancel your party and/or the services of Happily Ever After at that time, please remember that your deposit is non-refundable.
If the guest of honor becomes ill, we will gladly work with you to choose an alternate date for your party, based on availability.

Minimum/Maximum Attendance:   Parties may be scheduled for up to 15 children including the guest of honor. If less than 8 attend your party, you will still be charged for 8 children.

Clothing:   All costumes are designed to be worn over the child's own clothes. The children DO NOT get undressed. We do suggest that the girls wear a leotard, bathing suit or slip. Boys may come, as they like.

No shows:  Please remember, you will be charged for the final headcount you gave prior to the party, regardless of a child not showing.

Food Allergies:   It will be your responsibility to check for food allergies. Should any of your guests have food allergies, we will try our best to be accommodating. If a guest should have severe allergies, we recommend that either you or the child's parent provide an alternate menu for that child.

Adults staying during party:   Parents and other adults are always welcome to stay and enjoy the fantasy. Because we strive to make the birthday child and their guests the center of attention, we kindly request your assistance in keeping the noise level down so the children are not distracted, and are able to hear the Party Director to follow directions.

Siblings:   As long as they are supervised. We provide many accessories that contain small parts at many of our parties and they may not be appropriate for very small children. Please remember that our party packages cover ONLY the birthday child and their guests. Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to accommodate unexpected guests or siblings of guests, as we prepare our parties based on the final headcount given to us prior to the party. Siblings, who are not guests of the birthday child, will not be permitted to use any equipment brought by Happily Ever After .

Late Arrivals:   Because our parties are based on a schedule, they work best when all guests arrive on time. Those guests coming late may join the party at whatever point it has progressed to.

Example: The group has already completed the make-up session and has moved on to the pictures, the late guest must skip the make-up and join in the pictures. This is necessary in order to provide the least amount of disruption to the party, and your understanding is appreciated.

Discipline/Illness:   We are not responsible for the behavior of the children. The Party Director is responsible for hosting your party and engaging the children in a constant activity. Good behavior is always promoted, but it's your responsibility to monitor and take charge if a child is not behaving, becomes ill, or does not wish to participate.

Outdoor party:   Yes, BUT the party must take place on a non-grassy/dirt area. Some great places for outdoors are patios and decks. The children WILL NOT be permitted on grassy or dirt areas while in dress-up clothes. We reserve the right to decide whether the outside area is suitable for our equipment. Some things to consider about having your party outside: Have a back up plan and space indoors in the event of bad weather or a very hot/cold day. Remember that children will not want to put on dress-up clothes if it's very hot outside, food melts and beverages will not stay cold. SUN BLOCK!! We are NOT responsible for applying Sun block and/or making sure children do not get sunburned.

Parking: Please leave us some space to park in your driveway or in front of your home where we will not be blocked in. We would appreciate an easy access, as we have a lot of heavy items to carry into your party.

Travel Charges:   The package prices are for areas that are within a 30- mile radius of Fort Wayne, IN.   Please be aware that a Travel charge will be applied to those areas more than 30 miles. Mileage is determined with the help Of Mapquest. We reserve the right to determine whether we can or cannot travel to a location.

   Your Obligation:

   •  Provide a safe and clean area for dress-up, activities, and eating.

   •  Remain with the party, we are not a baby-sitting service

   •  Provide a gathering place for parents of the guests who wish to stay (see #16)

   •  Provide a smoke-free environment

Oops!:   Because accidents sometimes happen, we ask that no other type of food or beverage is served while the children are in the dress-up outfits. If you are planning to provide refreshments to the parents and siblings who stay, we ask your cooperation in making sure the children do not have access to that while dressed up. You are welcome to use our tables and chairs to serve cake, after the children have removed their costumes.
